The initial step in supporting the government in promoting tourism in Papua PT Angkasa Pura I Sentani Airport synergizes with the Government of the Papua Province in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding in the Tourism Sector Wednesday (2/8), Located at the Office of Culture and Tourism of the Province of Papua.

This is one of PT Angkasa Pura I Sentani Airport's steps in supporting Tourism, namely synergizing with the local government through this collaboration and it is hoped that through this collaboration it can increase domestic and international tourist visits to Papua, said GM Sentani Airport Iwan Novi Hantoro.
It is hoped that this collaboration can be useful and help attract the attention of tourists to know more about tourist attractions in Papua and can improve economic recovery as expected by both parties, both PT. Angkasa Pura I and the Department of Culture and Tourism.

"In its implementation later, through this collaboration the local government can take advantage of promotional media at Sentani airport such as videotron screens or promotional boards, as well as other areas that can be used to promote cultural and tourism potential in Papua Province", added Iwan

Secretary of the Papua Provincial Tourism Office Amelia Ondikleuw appreciates the harmonious cooperation with PT Angkasa Pura I and hopes that this collaboration will bring tourism in Papua to be better known by the wider community.
