Sentani International Airport and the Papua High Prosecutor's Office Strengthen Synergy in Handling Legal Matters

Jayapura, September 24, 2026 – PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (Persero)—Sentani-Jayapura International Airport Branch Office—and the Papua High Prosecutor's Office have strengthened their synergy through a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) regarding the handling of legal matters in the fields of civil law and state administrative law.

This collaboration is part of both institutions' efforts to enhance coordination and provide support in addressing various legal issues related to the execution of the company's duties and operational activities.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (Persero) Sentani-Jayapura International Airport Branch Office, I Nyoman Noer Rohim, and the Head of the Papua High Prosecutor's Office, Dr. Jefferdian, S.H., M.H.

I Nyoman Noer Rohim stated that the collaboration with the Papua High Prosecutor's Office represents a strategic step toward strengthening corporate governance and mitigating legal risks.

"This collaboration is expected to strengthen the synergy between Sentani International Airport and the Papua High Prosecutor's Office, particularly in providing legal support and assistance regarding civil and state administrative law matters. We are also committed to continuously improving the implementation of good corporate governance in conducting airport operations," said I Nyoman Noer Rohim.

Under the agreement, both parties have agreed to optimize the execution of their respective duties and functions in resolving legal issues related to civil and state administrative law, both in and out of court.

The Head of the Papua High Prosecutor's Office, Jefferdian, stated that inter-agency synergy is a crucial element in supporting the resolution of legal issues while simultaneously fostering good governance. Through this collaboration, both parties are also creating opportunities to enhance the legal competence and understanding of their personnel via various educational and capacity-building activities.

This partnership between Sentani Airport and the Papua High Prosecutor's Office follows up on a previous agreement established in 2024. The prior Cooperation Agreement was signed on October 28, 2024, and is set to expire on October 27, 2026.

By strengthening this collaboration, PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (Persero)—specifically the Sentani-Jayapura International Airport Branch Office—and the Papua High Prosecutor's Office aim to maintain effective coordination in addressing legal issues, improving risk mitigation, and supporting the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).

This partnership also reflects a shared commitment to fostering a work and operational environment that is increasingly orderly, transparent, and accountable, while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
