kembali ke listTo achieve reliable security, Sentani International Airport (DJJ) Jayapura held the 3rd Airport Security Committee (ASC) coordination meeting (Rakor) and the Airport Emergency Committee (AEC) with the entire airport community.
This 3rd Security Committee meeting is a follow-up to the second meeting in early July 2023. With the agenda, aspects of aviation security and safety are the main priority in the aviation industry to protect passengers, personnel and vital airport object assets.
This coordination meeting was carried out as an effort to increase personnel preparedness as well as airport security and emergency programs in the Room Hall on the 3rd Floor of the PT Angkasa Pura I Branch Office at DJJ Jayapura Airport on November 1 2023.
The implementation of ASC and AEC was attended by all stakeholders, including Indonesian Air Force Leader SIlas Papare, Representatives of the Papua Regional State Intelligence Agency (Binda), Representatives of the Merauke Region X Airport Authority Office, Airnav Leaders, Representatives of the Papua Province Regional Secretariat General Bureau and Representatives of the Resort Police Jayapura, Jayapura Class I Immigration Representatives, Jayapura Quarantine Representatives, Airline Representatives and other Stakeholders.
General Manager of DJJ Jayapura Airport, Iwan Novi Hantoro, said that ASC and AEC involve all Sentani Airport stakeholders regarding the importance of security programs and airport emergency programs. This meeting aims to ensure understanding, awareness and preparedness of all airport entities and related work partner elements regarding airport vigilance and protection as well as the importance of security measures and contingency preparation in accordance with the airport security program and airport emergency program.
Meanwhile, Stakeholder Relations Manager at Sentani Airport, Surya Eka, said that the Airport Security Committee and Emergency Committee meetings are important forums where stakeholders can discuss, collaborate and plan the steps needed to maintain airport security and emergency programs at Sentani Airport.
Effective communication and coordination with stakeholders and agencies involved in the Airport Security Committee and Emergency Committee members are important in the ASC and AEC Coordination Meeting at Sentani Airport. In this coordination meeting there was a presentation regarding education and outreach regarding aviation security and airport emergency programs to all stakeholders who work within Sentani Airport.
