Sentani Airport Opens Integrated Post for Eid Air Transport in 2024 M/1445 H

Sentani Airport opens Air Transport Post for Idul Fitri 2024, Tuesday (02/04/2024).
In accordance with the Instruction of the Director General of Civil Aviation Number IR 1 of 2024 concerning the Implementation of Eid Air Transport in 2024 M / 1445 H. That the 2024 Eid Transport Post is for 16 (sixteen) days, namely from 03 April 2024 to 18 April 2024.

For flight traffic predictions at Sentani International Airport during the Eid transport post period, it is estimated that passengers will grow by eight percent (8%), namely 72,053 passengers compared to last year's period of 66,716 passengers. Meanwhile, aircraft movements are estimated to grow four percent (4%), namely 1,777 aircraft compared to last year's period of 1,708 aircraft. Meanwhile, cargo is estimated to grow ten percent (10%), namely 4,468,509 kg compared to last year's period of 4,062,281 kg.
The predicted peak density of departing traffic will occur on the 4th day of Eid, namely on Saturday, April 6 2024 with a total of 6,021 passengers. Meanwhile, the peak return flow is estimated to occur on day +4 of Eid, namely Monday, April 15 2024 with 5,027 passengers. This movement data reporting activity will later be updated every day and can be monitored directly at this integrated transportation post.
